- A journey into the world of Japanese dance woven through words -

Japanese dance is performed to traditional music such as shamisen music and koto music. These songs have lyrics, or "words," that greatly influence the expression of dance. In this performance, the first part will feature a classical piece (koto music), and the second part will feature Kiina's original work (classical music and contemporary music). We will look at the tradition and present of Japanese dance, nurtured by beautiful "words."
