Greeting
Thank you for visiting my website.
I feel that, among the countless dances and folk dances in the world, the most attractive and fascinating thing about Japanese dance is its "ability to show what is not there". The fluttering eyes fall on the falling cherry blossoms; when you look up at the sky, the moon rises; when you shake your sleeves, the wind blows; when you turn your ears, you hear the sound of bells. The seasonal scenes that Japanese people have loved since ancient times are embodied in each and every movement. The classical works of Nihon buyo (traditional Japanese dance) are rich in such depictions of nature, and also reflect the subtleties of human life and emotions.
As one of the inheritors of a traditional art form, I value the study of classical works and at the same time challenge myself to collaborate with a wide variety of art forms.
I will continue my activities in the hope that the rich expression of Japanese dance will reach as many people as possible.
